✅ Pro Tip: Making a hole in a Pattern

You can’t directly erase a part that is in the middle of a pattern, but a workaround is using the Edit Points mode to add points that will create a hole inside, starting from the sides and opening your way inside.

Draw a hole in a Pattern - Step 1 Draw a Pattern
Draw a hole in a Pattern - Step 2 In Edit Points Mode, create an opening
Draw a hole in a Pattern - Step 3 Add a few points to close that opening
Draw a hole in a Pattern - Step 4 Drag your points to close your Pattern
