RECOLOR ASSETS
This very powerful feature will give you the ability to recolor any Object, Path, Walls, Portals and Patterns.
In both the Objects Tool and the Path Tool you will see a new set of icons, as well as in the Selection Tool when you select either an Object or a Path.

In the Wall Tool, Portal Tool and Pattern Tool, you will only see a smaller version of it:

ICONS
Eye Icon - Color Preview

Enable this option to preview the color you're applying to an asset.
Without any other icon enabled, your asset will get tinted by the color you choose in the Picker underneath.

Brush Icon - Greyscale

Clicking this icon will turn your asset into a greyscale image. This is interesting when you don't want to keep the original colors of the asset.

Half Moon Icon - Custom Greyscale Contrast

This icon works the same as the previous one, but it gives you the ability to modify the greyscale contrast, so the color can be more saturated. It works pretty well with assets that have a naturally low contrast and dark tones, like statues. You can auto-adjust the contrast per asset by clicking on the second half-moon icon, or you can adjust it manually with the slider below (dark values on the left, light values on the right).

Sliders Icon - Color Gradient

This icon lets you create your own color gradients. This is definitely an advanced feature and I can't pretend to know exactly how it works, but with time and patience you can get your own color scheme on any asset.
Color Gradients are supported across Objects (including Colorable Objects), Paths, Walls, Portals and Patterns.

The Color Gradient is pretty useful when you need to make half transparent assets.
Key features
Managing the lowest and highest values (see Custom Greyscale)

Managing the gradient colors (adding, removing, changing their value)

Displaying the individual colors

Saving presets and groups & managing them (see Scatter Presets from Minor Utils for more details on the UI)

Full Moon Icon - Plain Color

This icon transforms the asset into a single color. It can be useful in some cases, like shadows.

PRO TIPS
Better Light Control
If a Light is making an asset look too bright, you can use this mod to make it darker and look more natural.

Playing With Plain Colors
The plain color feature can be useful in a number of situations, from making glowing paths from shadow paths to making precise shadows to an object.

Half Transparent Assets
You can easily create half transparent assets with the Gradient Color tool by dropping the alpha value of the white color to 0. You can also add a tint to the transparency either by changing the white to another color, or by changing the tint color on top.

Multi-custom color assets
By combining this mod and Convert Object Into Pattern, you can manage to recolor only part of an asset. You can cut out pieces to recolor and assemble them to make a totally different color scheme.

The Scatter Tool does not play well with colorable assets at the moment, maybe that will be fixed later.
