EXPORTING YOUR MAP
Once your map is finished, you can export it as an image

THE EXPORT WINDOW
The Export window can be broken down into two main parts:
The Quality Settings (map size, file size, compression)
The Visual Settings (what's displayed)

QUICK EXPORT
If you want to skip all the technical details and just export a simple map, follow the next steps:
Set the Export Mode to JPEG
Set the Quality to 90%
Set the Brightness and Focus to 100%
Choose a Grid Preset from the dropdrown menu (in doubt, choose Best Quality)
Click Export

After pressing Export, you will notice the map being scanned from the top left to the bottom right. Don't do anything during this process. At the end, it will likely freeze for a few seconds. The export render is truly done when you can see the map file in your explorer, with a size over 0 kb.
In the next parts, we will see how to make the best out of the export settings and how to actually understand what you're doing.
